Sylvia Billings, Marcus Schoen, Chris Billings, Erika Lewis-Ellison, Kyle Wahl and Billy Emery qualified for the DECA State Career Conference by competing against students from Salamanca, Jamestown, Olean, Wellsville and Hornell last week. Sylvia took the number 1 spot in the entire region and will be trying to raise the money to compete March 7-9 in Rochester.
DECA builds many of the skills that are vital to future success, such as leadership, interviewing, team building, effective communication, vision development, and professionalism just to name a few. |
